  Travel booking through Internet up in Norway - report

Norwegian travel agency Star Tour has reportedly said that the number of travel bookings through the Internet in Norway had increased in July-August 2004.

In June-August 2003 the number of Internet bookings amounted to 8% of the total bookings, while in July 2004 Internet bookings amounted to 16% of the total and in August 2004 to 14%, the agency reportedly said.
The increase in Internet bookings was seen to be due to the bad weather in Norway during the summer and the increased use of the Internet overall, reported the Norwegian online news service Nettavisen.
